Connect to WiFi
Choose your operating system to connect to WiFi.

Connect to WiFi on Windows 11
- On your desktop or laptop, click the Network icon in bottom right-hand corner of your screen to bring up the menu.
- Click the arrow next to the Network icon to bring up the list of available WiFi networks.
- Find and click your WiFi network name. If you're using your modem's default WiFi settings, please note that the WiFi network name may also be called a "SSID".
Not seeing your WiFi network? Follow our basic WiFI settings guide for iiNet modems. If your modem isn't from iiNet , you should be able to find help on the manufacturer's website. - If you want to stay connected to the WiFi whenever you're in range, click the Connect Automatically box. Otherwise, just click Connect.
- Enter your WiFi password and click Next to connect to the WiFi. Your computer will remember your password for next time.
Connect to WiFi on Windows 10
- On your desktop, click the Network icon in bottom right-hand corner of your screen. This will bring up a list of available connections.
- Find the name (SSID) of your WiFi network and click on it.
Note: If your WiFi network isn't showing up on your device, follow this guide to check your basic WiFi settings on modems supplied by iiNet. If you have a third party modem, please check the manufacturer's website for support information. - Ensure Connect Automatically is ticked and then click Connect.
- Enter your WiFi password.
- Click OK to finish. Your computer should remember your password for you from now on.
Connect to WiFi on Windows 7
- On your desktop, click the Network icon in bottom right-hand corner of your screen. This will bring up a list of available connections.
- Find the name (SSID) of your WiFi network and click on it.
Note: If your WiFi network isn't showing up on your device, follow this guide to check your basic WiFi settings on modems supplied by iiNet. If you have a third-party modem, please check the manufacturer's website for support information or check out our common non-iiNet modem guides. - Ensure Connect Automatically is ticked and then click the Connect button.
- You’ll be asked to enter your Security key, which is your WiFi password (WPA). Type it in, and then click OK. Your computer should remember your password for you from now on.
Connect to WiFi on macOS
- In the upper right-hand corner of your screen, click the Wi-Fi icon and select Turn Wi-Fi On.
- Clicking the Wi-Fi icon will now bring up a list of available WiFi networks. Select your network name (SSID) from this list.
Note: If your WiFi network isn't showing up on your device, follow this guide to check your basic WiFi settings on modems supplied by iiNet. If you have a third-party modem, please check the manufacturer's website for support information or check out our common non-iiNet modem guides. - Enter your WiFi password, and then tick Remember this network to ensure your computer remembers your password for you from now on. Click OK to finish.
Connect to WiFi on iPhone or iPad
- Tap the Settings icon to open the Settings menu.
- Tap WiFi.
- Select the name (SSID) of your WiFi network from the list of available connections.

Your iOS device should remember your password for you from now on.
Connect to WiFi on Android OS
Android OS may look different depending on your device or software version. If these steps don't work for you, please check the manufacturer's support website.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Wi-Fi or Wireless & Networks.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi toggle switch.
- Select the name (SSID) of your WiFi network from the list of available networks.
